ProfilPACK® - Protection for large size ceiling-mounted telescopic
The ProfilPACK® modular barrier is a new closure system for big
dimensions designed to fully comply with current regulations.
Specifically designed for large shopping areas (checkout line
closures, shopping malls, etc.)
the main characteristics of this system are:
- Modular construction and easy assembly without the need for
lifting means
- No width restrictions
- Overall dimensions of the application reduced to a minimun (120 x 72 mm guides)
- Standard finish in hot galvanized steel (can be painted in any colour required)
A - UNI EN 13241-1 STANDARD PERFORMANCE. The cables are wound around the shaft by means of a sophisticated self-guided system that prevents cable overlapping.
B - The dimension of the axle and the supports (consisting of interchangeable nylon coated radial bearings) ensure high flexing resistence fully conforming to the standards.

Bottom slat and vertical side guides
Bottom slat realized in extruded aluminium with incorporate a neoprene rubber seal. Profiles are driven by wheels made in reinforced plastic and slide inside a self-lubricated vertical guide equipped with polizene sliding insert, to reduce noise in opening and closure operations.
Electric operation
The operation is granted by a sole gear motor. The main shaft is supported by supports equipped by self lubricated bearing in all its length; the opening/closure operations are integrated by winding shaft and steel cables. The pairing shaft/cable/gear motor make the operations easier and dynamic safe.
Controls
The controls are invariably with operator in attendance and having a full view of the door. Set up for optional photocell or infrared beam lifting.

D - Modular construction
Shutter made from galvanized steel slats hinged one to each other throughout the width of the entire closure.
E - Junction elements​
The shutter is constructed from separate modules which are assembled directly on site by setting the appropriate junction elements. TThe connection system of the different parts is achieved using slats with staggered length so that each junction point is reinforced by the insertion in the continuous articulation of the upper and lower sections.
